My name is Isaac Golden.
I am the founder and Director of the College.
I have been a homoeopathic practitioner since 1984,
and a teacher of homoeopathy and natural medicine since 1989.
I also hold a Diploma of naturopathy.
Prior to that I was trained in economics and related subjects.
I live in Daylesford, a small town in the hills about 80 minutes drive
north of Melbourne, Australia. I run my clinic there, as well as practicing
and lecturing at a College in Melbourne. I also run my own distance
education college which offers an Intermediate course in homoeopathy,
and an accredited professional Diploma course to train homoeopathic
practitioners.
I was president of the Victorian branch of the Australian Homoeopathic Association, Australia's largest national Association of professional homoeopaths, from 1992 to 1998. On 13th March, 1999 I was awarded the Association's Distinguished Service Award which stated that it was given "in recognition of his many years of service to the Australian Homoeopathic Association and for his significant contribution to the homoeopathic profession in Australia."
So you can see that using and teaching homoeopathy and natural medicine has been a big part of my life for many years.
I decided to form the Homoeopathy International Online College to meet the needs of those many people in every country who have decided to take more responsibility for their own health. They are looking for simple ways to improve their health and treat simple conditions at home. Of course we all still need to consult experienced professionals in natural and pharmaceutical medicine at times. But there is much we can do ourselves to prevent illness and deal with simple acute conditions.
So I have started the work of putting the correspondence courses I have already written into online courses. The first two are basic, easily understood courses which will allow people to make simple prescriptions of homoeopathic medicines. They are practical courses, which can be undertaken entirely through the Internet. There are also two more demanding homoeopathic courses for those who wish to expand their knowledge. Finally, I have a simple beginners course in natural medicine that introduces you to flower essences, tissue salts, herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, and food for healing, as well as homoeopathic medicine.
The basic online courses are inexpensive, and contain all the material you will need including simple prescribing books that you can download and use as your basic prescribing references.
Because homoeopathy offers non-toxic treatment it is probably the safest form of medicine to use at home. When the prescription is accurate, it works very quickly. The medicines themselves are inexpensive. It is a wonderful form of treatment, and you now have the opportunity to take advantage of homoeopathy and other natural healing methods through these simple courses.
